Photos: Hidden Valley hosts cross country meet

Fifteen teams and nearly 400 athletes took part in the Clash with the Titans cross country meet Saturday, Aug. 29, in Southwest Roanoke County. Hosted by Hidden Valley, there were two courses–a 5K for the varsity and a 3K for junior varsity.

Roanoke County athletes did well, including a win by Hidden Valley’s Mary Catherine Sowder and first place finish in the junior varisty division by Cave Spring’s Katie Fortner.

The meet followed Hidden Valley’s football win Friday night over Patrick Henry. For links to photos and a video, click here.
