Award winners from Southwest Virginia High School Lacrosse Banquet

Here are photos, courtesy of Bert Bondurant, of the Southwest Roanoke athletes at the Southwest Virginia High School Lacrosse Banquet held on Monday, June 1 at the Salem Civic Center.

The men are:

Drew Hudson (Honorable Mention Midfield), Jack Bondurant (2nd Team Attack), Rim Rowe, Jr (1st Team Midfield), Andrew Birkhoff (2nd team goalie), Zach Gregg (2nd team defense).

The females are:

Captain Elizabeth Hatcher, Kayla Doolan (2nd team defense), Katie Searl (Honorable Mention Midfield), Rebecca Vail (2nd team goalie), Malinda Britt (1st team midfield), Lottie Meadows (Honorable Mention Midfield), and Lauren Buckley (Honorable Mention Midfield).

    Did I miss an article on the SW Va HS Lacrosse awards? I also wonder why lacrosse players were not mentioned in the today’s section about HS athletes.
