Monica Boatwright is named Gulf South Conference East Division Player of the Week
Freshman guard Monica Boatwright of the University of Alabama in Huntsville was named Gulf South Conference East Division Player of the Week on Nov. 24.In two games last week, the Cave Spring High graduate averaged 19.5 points and four assists per contest. She scored a season-high 24 points and had six assist in the Lady Chargers’ 88-66 win over West Division rival Henderson State.
