Photo: Three Roanoke Star soccer teams compete in Europe

This just in from Martin Smith with the Roanoke Star Soccer Club:

Three Roanoke Star soccer teams are currently competing in Europe, U14 Girls Elite, U15 Boys Premier and U15 Boys Elite. The week commencing 12th July 2010 saw the teams play in the Tivoli Cup, a youth tournament based in Denmark. All three teams played extremely well, finishing highly in their groups. The U14 Girls Elite finished runners up in the B Cup, the U15 Boys Premier won the C Cup and the U15 Boys Elite finished 3rd in the A Cup. Next the teams head for the prestigious Gothia Cup!”
