Event: Stepping Stones organizational meeting on Sept. 9

Stepping Stones, a peer grief group for children in grades K-8 who have lost a parent or guardian, will have an organizational meeting on Sept. 9, 2010 at 6 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church. All previous volunteers, parents and children are invited to attend.

Southwest Roanoke County Valley AFC hosted the opening day of 2010 youth soccer August 28. Hundreds of youngsters, along with their coaches, were recognized during the ceremony at Bogle Stadium. We have these photos from Hank Ebert from some of the many games, as well as the opening ceremony.
