Henry Kruse wins division in Roanoke Valley Senior Golf Tournament

Waylon Overstreet of Dublin was the overall winner of the Roanoke Valley Senior Golf Tour’s final tournament  at Pulaski Country Club.

Playing in Division Two, Overstreet recorded a net score of 67.  Other net score winners in Division Two were:  2nd – Robert Fischer, 69; 3rd – Patrick Lynch, 70; 4th - Garland Dooley, 70; 5th – Ray Hundley, 70.

The Division One 1st Place winner was Henry Kruse of Southwest Roanoke with a net score of 68.  Other winners were:  2nd – Ken Gross, 68; 3rd – Ken Wilburn, 69; 4th – Lee Hipp, 69; 5th – David Heath, 70.

Playing in Division Three, Edward Keen of Christiansburg, VA carded a net score of 67.  Other winners were:  2nd – Emory Taylor, 70; 3rd – Dennis Flannagan, 70; 4th – Lewis Burger, 73; 5th – Ken Venable, 73.

Medalists were Ken Gross, David Heath, and Hank Highfill, all with a gross score of 76.
