Nunsense
Feb. 16 – March 4
Join the Little Sisters of Hoboken in this updated version of the original by Dan Goggin. The sisters need money quickly for some unexpected burials (accidental poisonings by the convent cook) and hold a fundraising event.
The Lion in Winter
April 11 – 22
King Henry II has three sons and trouble determining who will inherit the kingdom, in this John Goldman comedic drama. His favorite is the youngest, John, but Eleanor of Aquitaine’s favorite is the eldest, Richard.
A Little Murder Never Hurt Anybody
May 30 – June 10
Some New Year’s resolutions are mundane, but not in this farce by Ron Bernas. When a husband resolves to kill his wife by the following New Year’s, and she resolves to be alive for their daughter’s wedding the following year, just watch what happens.
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
July 19 – Aug. 5
Oldest brother Adam decides to find a wife the next time he goes into town for supplies in this popular musical with book by Lawrence Kasha and David Landay, lyrics by Johnny Mercer and music by Gene de Paul. He finds a woman but neglects to tell her that becoming his wife also means taking care of all his younger brothers.
Dracula
Sept. 19-30
Count Dracula has moved into a castle near the sanitarium of Dr. Seward in this classic story from Bram Stoker’s novel, as dramatized by Hamilton Deane and John L. Balderston. Can he, with the help of Van Helsing and Harker, save his daughter Lucy from a terrible fate?
Over the River and Through the Woods
Nov. 7-18
Nick is fortunate to have two sets of loving grandparents who expect him for Sunday dinner every week in this comedy by Joe DiPietro. When he receives a job offer on the west coast, they begin to scheme to keep him back east.
