Community volunteer appointed to Board of Directors

The Roanoke Women’s Foundation, a component fund of Foundation for Roanoke Valley, announced the name of a newly appointed member of the Board of Directors.

Alice Burlinson has been appointed to a three year term.  She will serve along with the seven member founding board and two other at large board members.

Burlinson is a government attorney with over 26 years of experience in family law.  An active community volunteer, Burlinson currently serves on the board of Roanoke Children’s Theatre.  She has also served on the boards of the Conflict Resolution Center, YWCA, Council of Community Services and Legal Aide Society of Roanoke Valley.
