S.W. County swimmers take home medals at state swim championships

Hidden Valley boys placed second as a team, and Cave Spring girls placed third at the Group AA/A state swim meet in Christiansburg on Saturday. You can view photos of Southwest County swimmers in the slideshow above; to see captions, including titles won, click here.

Other highlights included:

– Cave Spring’s girls 200 relay established a new meet record.

– Cave Spring’s Jacob Siar won the boys 200 IM and the 100 backstroke.

– Hidden Valley’s Lucas Otruba won the boys 500 freestyle and was second in the 200 free.
