Dr. Mandy M. Atkinson to speak at Penn Forest Worship Center on Sunday, April 22

‘Why does God allow suffering?’ is a question that many people ask in their lifetime.  There have been numerous books written, countless debates, multiple sermons preached and hours of contemplation on this topic.  When all is said and done much of what is said just complicates the issue and causes more confusion.   Dr. Mandy M. Atkinson will be speaking on this topic in a clear and concise way on Sunday, April 22, at 11 a.m. at Penn Forest Worship Center.

Dr. Mandy M. Atkinson is a Pediatric Hematologist Oncologist with Carilion Clinic in Roanoke.  She attended Eastern Virginia Medical School, did her internship and residency at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and her fellowship at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.  She is the wife of Reverend Myron D. Atkinson, Pastor at Penn Forest Worship Center.

This event is open to the public, and Penn Forest Worship Center would like to invite everyone to attend.  Penn Forest Worship Center is located at 3735 Chaparral Drive SW in Roanoke, directly across the street from Cave Spring High School.

For more information please call 540-772-9482 or visit their web-site at www.pfwc.net.
