Latter-day Saint Youth provide needed service at memorial in Bedford

Paul Rucker shares these photos and says:

Over 135  youth (and their leaders) from the Roanoke, Virginia, Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints spent a recent Saturday morning performing service at the D-Day Memorial in Bedford. The youth came from Bedford, Roanoke, Salem, Vinton, Rocky Mount and Martinsville to do yardwork and spring cleaning for the Memorial. The D-Day Memorial project is one of several the group will do throughout the Roanoke Valley area this year. Similar service was performed recently on Roanoke Valley Greenways and at the Roanoke Zoo.

Thanks, Paul! Share your church photos too! Email news@swo-co.com or upload up to 10 photos at a time using our share tool.
