Six-mile World Hunger Walk to be held Sunday, April 22
The World Hunger Walk will be held April 22. The six-mile walk will benefit various organizations that fight hunger, such as Heifer International, the Church of the Brethren Global Food Crisis Fund, Roanoke Area Ministries and Heavenly Manna food bank. All walkers get their own sponsors.
The walk starts at Antioch Church of the Brethren (located at 2996 Callaway Road in Rocky Mount) at 3 p.m.
