More than 1,700 without power in Roanoke County

Appalachian spokesman Todd Burns said crews are still working to determine what caused the outages in the Starkey Road area at about 2:03 p.m., when a breaker was triggered.

Chase Purdy of The Roanoke Times will have updates here.
