Photos from ‘Senior’ Prom at Elm Park Estates
Elm Park Estates, Roanoke’s home for gracious independent retirement living for more than 22 years, hosted a “Senior” Prom on May 5, 2012. The community was decorated in prom-like fashion and music was performed by Eddie and Sherry Richards. About a dozen local high schoolers (including Tony D’Alelio, star of Cave Spring High School’s recent production of “Footloose”) volunteered their time to come dance with the senior residents at Elm Park Estates, many of whom dressed in formal attire for the prom. A great time was had by the residents, the many guests, the staff and the wonderful young people.
