Photos: HVHS hosts a fundraiser for Lindsey Nanz on Saturday, May 12

Students, parents, teachers, friends and more gathered at Hidden Valley High School on Saturday, May 12, for a fundraiser benefiting sophomore Lindsey Nanz and her family after Lindsey underwent a liver transplant in October 2011.

Baked goods, popcorn, cotton candy, face painting, a small silent auction, inflatable bounce houses and obstacle courses and several sets of live music were all a draw at the event on Saturday.

Lindsey even had support from newfound friends in Lynchburg. When Lindsey was in Pittsburgh at the hospital for the transplant and then at the Ronald McDonald House while she recovered, she met and made friends with “little Lindsey” Meyer. Little Lindsey and her family came to support Big Lindsey at the fundraiser.
