Roanoke Chapter of the American Sewing Guild to sew angel gowns on Wednesday, May 23
Members of the Roanoke Chapter of the American Sewing Guild will meet next Wednesday, May 23, to sew ‘angel gowns’ for “families who have suffered an infant loss.”
Those who wish to help smock angel gowns can come between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. and stay for as long as you would like. The members will meet at the home of Sara Rodgers, at 6454 Corntassell Lane in Roanoke.
The Roanoke Chapter of the American Sewing Guild meets the second Thursday of each month at Rosalind Hills Baptist Church, located at 2712 Brandon Ave. SW in Roanoke. The first two meetings are free for prospective members. For more information, call Anne Landry at 540-989-7502 or visit the website.
