Congratulations to the Virginia Scrappers 12U – Leftwich softball team for winning the NC IFA Spring State Championship, on May 20-21. The team went 6-0 for the weekend. Saturday included wins over Chatham Elite 99 (NC) (3-0), Diamond Divas (NC) (5-4), and Maroon Crush (VA) (9-2). Sunday included wins over Fusion (6-0) (NC), 3G’s (VA) (5-3, ITB) and 3G’s (VA) (9-1) in the championship game.
