Roanoke County officials to hold news conference today to talk about assessments
Roanoke County Board of Supervisors Chairman Richard Flora and County Administrator Clay Goodman have scheduled a press conference at the Roanoke County Administration Center this afternoon to announce the results of the recent state review of the County’s practices and procedures related to property assessments. The audit was performed by the Virginia Department of Taxation, which has shared its findings with Roanoke County. The complete report will be shared with members of the media at the press conference and will be later posted to the Roanoke County website.
No decisions will be made by the Board at the press conference.
