Dill appointed new head coach of SoCo Women’s Lacrosse

South County Women’s Lacrosse is pleased to announce the appointment of new head coach Meaghan Dill for the upcoming season.

Meaghan is a 2007 graduate of Cave Spring High School.  She then attended Guilford College in Greensboro, NC, where she played four years of varsity Lacrosse as both a midfielder and defender.  She was selected Academic all-ODAC conference four times.

Meaghan is very excited about returning to Roanoke, where she has lived since age 5. She also ran cross-country and track for Cave Spring.

The South County program is a Club Level Lacrosse program for high school age young women.  The team has been invited to the Virginia state club level lacrosse championships in Richmond the last two years in a row.

It is never too late to learn the fastest growing sport in America.  South County accepts players of all skill levels (even new players!) and strives to promote top-notch athletics, sportsmanship and lots of fun and camaraderie.

If you are interested in playing or just learning more about the team, please call Fred Searl, team President, at 540-580-5801, or email him at
f-searl@hotmail.com.
