Roanoke County has another update on brush collection following storm

Brush crews are continuing to collect Wednesday A Week residents. Thursday A Week residents will be delayed until at least the beginning of next week (8/6/12). The volume of brush is extremely heavy and crews are working as quickly as possible.

We ask that residents please be patient regarding their brush collection as the delays may be lengthy. Please do not place brush under power lines, trees, or park vehicles near the brush piles, or mix the brush with bulk items as these obstacles will further delay collection. Please remember that brush must be no longer than 6 feet in length and 12 inches in diameter.

The Solid Waste Division will advise our residents of our progress via newsflashes on this website as we continue to provide bulk/brush and regular trash collection service. Bulk collection and regular garbage service is being collected on schedule.
