Green Valley assistant principal named assistant principal at HIdden Valley Middle School
Marcee Cook, current assistant principal at Green Valley Elementary School has been named as the new assistant principal at Hidden Valley Middle School (HVMS) by the Roanoke County School Board.
Cook began her tenure with Roanoke County Public Schools in 1999 as a PE teacher at Hidden Valley Junior High School (now HVMS). A year later she moved to William Byrd High School, where she taught PE until 2008. In 2009 she was named the assistant principal at Green Valley Elementary School.
Cook holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Roanoke College and a Masters Degree in Administration and Supervision.
“Marcee has done a great job as the assistant principal at Green Valley and I’m pleased she will take that experience to Hidden Valley Middle,” said Roanoke County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Lorraine Lange. “Hidden Valley Middle has a wonderful staff and I know she will be a great addition to the school.”
