Right lane on northbound 220 near Red Hill to be closed starting Sept. 27

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 27, a right lane closure will be in place on northbound Route 220 in Roanoke County as crews work to repair the bridge over Back Creek. The bridge is located 4.5 miles south of Route 419 near Red Hill Baptist Church.

The lane closure will remain in place from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Drivers should expect possible delays and watch for signs.

The date and hours for this road work could be adjusted depending on weather and work schedule.
