Roanoke County will hold an honor and remembrance ceremony in recognition of the events of September 11. As part of the ceremony, Roanoke County will also publicly thank the Woodmen of the World fraternal organization for their ongoing support of public safety and generous donation of a plaque, flag, and flag pole for the Roanoke County Firearms Training Facility.

Ceremony to include: Tolling of the Bell, Presentation of Colors by Roanoke County’s public safety agencies, and singing of the National Anthem.
