Tonight’s football forecast: A perfect night for football
Cave Spring is at home tonight against Lord Botetourt — a homecoming of sorts for Lord Botetourt’s new head coach, Jamie Harless, who previously was an assistant for the nights.
There’s also a food drive underway on behalf of Feeding America; we have details on that here.
Hidden Valley, meanwhile, travels across town to Northside.
Both games kick off at 7:30 p.m.
Wherever you’re headed, weather journalist Kevin Myatt sees a perfect night for high school football:
Friday night looks to be ideal for high school football, with no hint of rain. Temperatures will fall through the 70s into the 60s during the games.
We’ll have photos from both games, so check back for those — or share your own at news@swo-co.com, or use the “share” tool to upload 10 at a time.
This past week, T.J. Witten had photos from Cave Spring-Northside and Nakia Wimberly Photography had photos of Hidden Valley-Lord Botetourt.
We also had photos of runners from both schools in the Knights Crossing cross-country meet, from Jon Fleming.
