John Ashby of Galax, VA was the overall winner of the Roanoke Valley Senior Golf Tour’s tournament played Tuesday at Blue Hills Golf Club.  Ashby, playing in Division 1 (handicaps 0-11) carded a net score of 63.  Other Division 1 winners were: 2nd, Buddy Shull – 65; 3rd, Charles Vassar – 66; 4th, Crady Adams – 66; 5th, Loopy Price – 67.

Playing in Division 2, (handicaps 12-16), Ken Kornegay of Southwest Roanoke County finished 1st Place in his division with a net score of 65.  Other Division 2 winners were: 2nd, Garland Dooley – 66; 3rd, Roman Wolczuk – 66; 4th, Joe Parker – 66; 5th, Fred Whipple – 66.

David Boyd of Southwest Roanoke County recorded a net score of 64 to finish 1st Place in Division 3 (handicaps over 16).  Other Division 3 winners were:  2nd, Jim Wright – 67; 3rd, Robert Huffman – 68; 4th, Harold Phillips – 68; 5th, Dennis Young – 68.

Low Gross honor went to Woody Deans of Southwest Roanoke with a 71.
