Last week volunteers at Cave Spring High School performed vision and hearing screenings on over 250 10th graders. Lead by School Nurse Teresa Tate, the team of nurses and volunteers screened each student to ensure hearing and vision meet Roanoke County standards. Good vision and good hearing are essential to strong academic performance. Students are typically screened in 7th and 10th grades. See our wonderful volunteers in action in the photos. Thanks to all who helped with this important event!
