Burton Center for Arts & Technology celebrates 50 years

Burton Center for Arts & Technology celebrated their 50th anniversary on Thursday, Oct. 18, with an open house.

Current and prospective students, parents, alumni and staff members, both former and current, gathered at the school Thursday for an informal celebration of the school. The campus was open for tours, culinary arts students supplied some refreshments–and Halloween-themed cupcakes!–in the kitchen and the cafeteria housed a silent auction.

Former Burton Center principal Roger Johnson joined current principal Jason Suhr on the campus to catch up and reminisce about the past 50 years.

Did you attend the celebration? Share your photos by emailing news@swo-co.com or upload up to 10 photos at a time using our share tool.
