Brett Smith, of Troop 221, is raising money for his Eagle Scout project. It requires doing a project that leaves an impact on the community. Brett has decided to raise funds to improve Starkey Park. He plans to install benches, re-gravel the path and put pavers in by the benches. This project will be done sometime in October. He and some friends held a car wash at the Bojangles’ at Cave Spring. It was a gray day, but people helped out nonetheless.
