Photos: Faith Christian School – Zeus Family Reunion Oct. 24

Parents of third graders at Faith Christian School were learning all about Greek mythology on Wednesday, October 24. Who were the teachers you might ask? Their kids! Each third grader represented a Greek god in Faith Christian’s annual Zeus Family Reunion. The children dressed up, stood in front of the classroom and “taught” their parents and each other about the Greek god they represented… but the only god who was missing was Zeus, the father of the gods. Where was he? Everyone was kept in suspense until the children finished “teaching,” when suddenly he appeared! “Zeus” walked into the classroom holding a lightning bolt and wearing a thick grey beard and long robes. Every year it’s a surprise for the third graders as to who will dress up as Zeus. This year, he was played by none other than headmaster, Sam Cox. After “Zeus” appeared, the kids and their parents enjoyed a little party with some delicious Greek food.
