Roanoke Star supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Roanoke Star Soccer Club will be supporting breast cancer awareness month and raising money to go towards this great cause.

Throughout the month of October Roanoke Star players, from the Academy (U10) all the way up to U18 boys and girls, will proudly wear PUMA pink socks with their uniforms during games. The Roanoke Star coaches will also be getting in on the act by sporting the socks as well.

This weekend, October 6-7, will see the pink socks make their first appearance as players from Roanoke Star will wear them during the club’s annual Kroger Cup 2012 tournament at Green Hill Park and Vinyard Soccer fields. The tournament will run on Saturday and Sunday and will host clubs from Virginia and North Carolina.
