Coming Up

In the market for a new home? Don’t miss the Open House guide in the paper Saturday and Sunday.

Upcoming events in October at the South County Library

October is many people’s favorite month of the year, and it’s turning out to be ours, too. Although the exciting days of summer are past us, we have a great line-up of events in October. In addition to Halloween parties for the kids, Artsy Antics for tweens, and Wednesday Night Magic for teens, you don’t want to miss the Fall Book Sale and special performances during Dead Authors Month. For a full list of events, view the October 2012 Calendar.

FALL BOOK SALE

The Friends of the Roanoke County Public Library’s semi-annual book sale starts Saturday, Oct. 13 and continues through Thursday, Oct. 18 at South County Library. Here you’ll find thousands of gently used books, DVDs, audiobooks, children’s books, and more at incredibly low prices. Wed, Oct 17 is Half Price Day. Bring a box on Thurs, Oct 18 and get a box of books for only $3.00. The Fall Book Sale takes place during regular operating hours.
