Cave Spring alum Michael Cole recovers from injury to attend game
Here’s a good follow-up to this injury:
Virginia Tech safety Michael Cole was injured in the third quarter of Thursday’s game and was motionless at the end of a play. The former Cave Spring star was taken by an ambulance to LewisGale Hospital in Blacksburg. The team doctor said after the game that he had movement in all four extremities and was expected to make a full recovery.
Friday night, he was in attendance at Cave Spring’s big win over Abingdon in the first round of playoffs. T.J. Witten shares this photo.
