Southwest Roanoke County residents Lauren Hirshorn (in green) and Emily Hirshorn (in the red hat) play a game of Wizard’s Chess during the Triwizard Tournament, sponsored by Roanoke County Parks, Recreation and Tourism as part of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Quidditch Tournament.

The Tournament kicked off Saturday with fun–and free!–games for families and Harry Potter fans, but the Quidditch competition will continue Sunday as the remaining teams battle for the top slot.
