Nov. 17: Grandin Court Baptist Church to host Fall Fundraiser for Thursday Morning Music Club

Grandin Court Baptist Church to host Fall Fundraiser for Thursday Morning Music Club

Come hungry and join us for an “all-you-can-eat” pancake breakfast on Saturday, November 17, 8 – 11am. Tickets are $5, you may call President Jean Frazier at 345-0393 or Ways & Means representative Anne Andrews at 597-8546 for tickets or with questions. Tickets may be purchased at the door.  Grandin Court Baptist Church is located at 2660 Brambleton Ave.

In addition, you will be able to get some Christmas shopping done, we will have vendors selling jewelry, clothing (women’s) and scarves. A variety of items will also be available by silent auction.

TMMC was organized in 1908 to “create a broader appreciation of music, to encourage and develop individual music talents, to foster and promote musical entertainment and to provide a social and educational center” in the Roanoke Valley for music lovers. The Roanoke Symphony Orchestra was begun by our club! We are affiliated with the State and National Federation of Music Clubs.

Scholarships are awarded in the spring to graduating seniors who plan to continue their education in an area of music or dance; proceeds from this event will benefit our scholarship fund.
