Oak Grove Elementary 1st Annual Walk-A-Thon

What a fantastic and fun day for all of the Oak Grove families, friends and staff. We held our first annual walk-a-thon and it was a huge success! Our PTA would like to thank everyone that gave us the support and time to make this an amazing day: The kiddos that walked/ran/limbo’ed their little feet off, the great teachers that were right there next to them and all our parents and friends that volunteered their time. We would also like to thank the Salem Red Sox, Brambleton Kroger store, Roanoke Bagel, Bojangles and Sonic who all either donated refreshments or prizes for the entire school.
We met all our goals, and more! The best part is by creating such an event, Oak Grove will get to keep 100% of the money raised, which will help fund school programs and supplies thoughout the entire year…BRAVO!
