Former CCA Marlins swimmer Salvatore Russo has recently earned swimmer of the week in the Appalachian Conference. Salvatore just graduated, June 2012 from Roanoke Catholic and was a NCSA Junior Qualifier and HS state finalist during his many years with the Marlins. Salvatore also swam for Roanoke Catholic helping the school place 2nd last year at the High School independents. Salvatore grew up in Roanoke County and has been a member of the Hunting Hills Hound Dogs swim team as a swimmer and coach for around 10 years!!

Great job, Congratulation to Salvatore and keep up the hard work!

We will be on the look out for many of the other Marlin swimmers competing this fall and winter for the college swim teams.
