Holiday lights: 28,000 lights on Back Creek Road

The Roanoke Times is once again inviting people with big displays of Christmas lights to enter them in an online database of the best and brightest in Western Virginia.

The Roanoke Times is once again inviting people with big displays of Christmas lights to enter them in an online database of the best and brightest in Western Virginia.

And this year, there’s a twist: A contest!

Enter by December 5 and become eligible. We have details here and the complete list of lit-up locations here.

Address: 7051 Back Creek Road
What visitors will see: You will have to see it to believe it!! We have decorated over 6 acres of our farm with such a variety of lights and themes that it is a sight to see!!

Every year we have people that just wait to see what they will do “this year”!
Angels, Christmas Deer, Tropical Christmas, 40ft. illuminated Christmas tree with 28,000 led lights , Horse’s, sliding snow men , Christmas Sleds and a beautiful life size Manger Scene. These are just a few of the illuminations that you will see, there is so much that we cannot describe, you will have to come see it to believe it!!

if coming by gps down 220 , you will make a right hand turn if coming from Roanoke , 2 1/2 miles out the road , gps will try to tell you turn left or right but do not turn stay on the back creek road , you will not miss them worth the drive
Display times: lights are on from 5:00 till 10:00 longer on friday and saturday till 11:00

    We drove out to see this magnificent display last evening. Thank you for your time and effort. We have seen other displays that are, quite honestly, tacky. This one is not. What a delight it was.
