The Roanoke Times is once again inviting people with big displays of Christmas lights to enter them in an online database of the best and brightest in Western Virginia.

The Roanoke Times is once again inviting people with big displays of Christmas lights to enter them in an online database of the best and brightest in Western Virginia.

We have details here and the complete list of lit-up locations here.

Among those is one from Southwest Roanoke County:

Display owner: The Jones Family
Address: 4361 Rosevale Road , Roanoke , VA 24018
What visitors will see: For 2012 the display has been completely rearranged plus several new lights have been added including a crane operated by Santa, a sleigh with Santa, two 6.5 ft. trees, a huge LED wreath, and much more! All of the favorites returned as well including Snoopy & Charlie Brown, 10 blow-molds, 8 lighted trees, 6 unique inflatables, antique car, helicopter, blimp, nutcracker, dolphin, penguins, reindeer, and many others! We encourage all visitors to pull up the driveway for the best view of the 10,000+ lights!
Display times: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM (weather permitting)
