Photos: Hidden Valley wrestlers at 29th-annual Bees Club Round Robin tournament

Hidden Valley Youth Wrestlers attended the 29th Annual Bees Club Round Robin Wrestling Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 8 at Brookville High School.

Dylan LaPrad 1st place: Dylan wrestled a tough Jefferson Forest opponent and was victorious with a 5-4 decision. Dylan would go on to defeat two Quisck Pin (Amherst) opponents with a pin and a 16-0 technical fall decision.

Chris Comer 2nd place: Chris had a tough opening round against an opponent from Jefferson Forest and came up short with a 6-2 loss, but Chris put that match behind him and rallied to defeata Young Warrior wrestler 12-0 and and Brookville Bees Club wrestler by pin.

Ethan Leonard 2nd place had a first round win with a 4-0 score but would come up short against a Brookville opponent.

Carter Beale (1st Year) 3rd place: Carter had a tough weigh division but managed to finish with the Bronze medal.

Landon Blackshear 3rd place was triumphant over a Brookville Bee opponent by pin to take home the Bronze medal.

Tyler Duffy (1st Year) 3rd place: Tyler best match of the day was a 15-0 technical fall decision over a Brookville Bees opponent.

Cole Janiga (1st Year) 3rd place: Cole score two pins over Jefferson Forest and Smith Mountain Lake Club opponents to earn the Bronze medal.

Chase Miller (1st Year) 3rd place defeated a Brookville opponent by pin on his way to a Bronze medal.

Gabe Wheaton (1st Year) 3rd place: Gabe best match of the day was a pin over a Liberty Wrestling Club wrestler by pin.

Middle School Division

Jordan Duncan 2nd place: Jordan had a win by pin over Brookville Bees opponent and a Roanoke Catholic rival on points 9-0 to take home the Silver medal.

Kiel Cook 3rd place: Kiel scored a pin over Jefferson Forest and finished the day with a Bronze medal.

Nate Goad 4th place: Nate pinned a Liberty grappler but fell outside of the medals.
