Photos: Santa visits the Brambleton Center
We have photos by Loren Wright from Santa’s visit to the Brambleton Center on Saturday. Here is more about the event:
Santa dropped by the Brambleton Center in SW Roanoke on Saturday night. The kids were wide eyed and Santa magical. Santa spent so much time with each child, sharing stories and listening. He gave them each a special candy cane to hang on their tree. They must be kind and do something nice for someone every day until Christmas. When he gets to their house Christmas Eve and the candy cane is still hanging, they will get a special gift. Santa also said that as we get older, the gifts change. As adults, our gifts become the gift of hope, determination, courage and love. Santa said we can all drop by the History Museum downtown and learn all about Santa and the past. His sleigh is even there.
