Photos: Kendall Bayne – Fighting Like a Knight: “Purple and Black Dance”
Fighting like a knight.
That’s exactly what Kendall Bayne is doing in her fight against cancer. But Kendall’s not alone. There’s a community behind her. This was evident at the “Purple and Black Dance” on Saturday, January 19. The Dance was aimed at benefitting Team Kendall. Kimberly Daniels organized the event and Roger Neel, owner of Billy’s Restaurant in Downtown Roanoke, allowed the event to take place there. The band Fuzzy Logic entertained the group and many businesses donated gift cards, jewelry, clothes, golf items, gift baskets, and even cash for the Silent Auction. You can view the pictures from the event as a slideshow above, or click here for a different view.
