Master Potter Series Offered at The Brambleton Center

Master Potter Series This Weekend with Richard Aerni

Richard Aerni is a full time potter with over 30 years experience. He produces single- fired, wood ash glazed functional stoneware pieces. He learned pottery in a community studio in Cincinnati, Ohio, rather than in an academic institution. His love of classic design shows in his work. There will be a reception and conversation with the artist on Friday, February 22, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM that is free and open to the public with no registration. The workshop on Saturday, February 23, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM will be demonstrations with a fee of $10 for Blue Ridge Potter’s Guild members, $25 for nonmembers and free for area public school teachers. Call 772-7529 for more information.
