Photos: HVHS National Signing Day

It was a busy day for athletes in Southwest County on Wednesday, February 6.  Four seniors at Hidden Valley High School signed letters of intent to play their sport at the college level.

Jake Kite, son of Chris and Christie Kite, committed to play football at Duke University.  When asked what he is most excited about with this new chapter in his life, he answered: “I’m most excited about being able to step on the field in front of the fans and play football, which is what I love.”

Carolyn Bethel, daughter of Karen and David Bethel, signed a letter of intent to run cross country/track at Northern Arizona University.  Carolyn said she is, “really excited because Flagstaff is such an elite training area that will hopefully help me become an even better runner now and in the future.”

Morgan and Murray Meyer, identical twins and daughters of Mark and Celie Meyer, both committed to play soccer at Mars Hill College in North Carolina.  “We are most excited about being together,” they said.

Congratulations Jake, Carolyn, Morgan and Murray!
