Southwest Virginia Wildlife Center. We have all paniced when we have found a baby bird who has falled (or seemed to have fallen) from the nest, or found a baby bunny who has been caught by a cat or a turtle who has been hit by a car on the road....or had questions about what to do when our lawnmower disturbs a bunny nest or robins nest on our window sill. Roanoke FINALLY has a place that can answer our questions and if necessary, intake the sick, injured or orphaned wildlife that needs help. Sabrina Garvin is educated, well connected with other area wildlife rehabilitors and spends what time she has left taking her education animals to meetings and gatherings to teach us about wildife. Roanoke is LUCKY to have a facility of this caliber available to us.
