Photos: Virginia Tech celebrates Arbor Day with tree plantings

Ray Roberts of Newcastle shares these photos of the planting of Princeton Elm trees at Virginia Tech in honor of Arbor Day, which is April 27.
Virginia Tech has been designated a Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation for four years in a row because of its efforts to promote conservation and sustainable forestry on campus, according to Tech’s website.
