Enrollment is open for June sessions of Science and Creativity in Motion camp
The Science and Creativity in Motion Summer Camp at the Southwest Virginia Governor’s School is a summer program to be held for rising fifth-, sixth-, and seventh-graders the week of June 18-22, and for rising eighth- and ninth-graders the week of June 25-29, at the Southwest Virginia Governor’s School. This camp will provide hands-on activities for exploration of specific areas of science and other fields. Classes feature advanced material and are scheduled so that students may take up to four classes to broaden their educational experience. The classes are designed to give students an opportunity to explore a specific field of interest in-depth while learning in a fun and exciting environment. Detailed class descriptions are available at http://swvgs.us/summer_camp.htm. Enrollment is still open, and students may choose up to four classes.
