Just because there are fewer people living in other areas of the NRV does not mean we don’t have some of the best it has to offer. There are just more people in the Burgs so our voice gets drowned out.

Shouldn’t that be only one category too then? Just something that I was always confused of when it comes to these voting…I think it’s grouped unfairly!

Many people use the picks to patron during the year. Others that were picked advertise when they are in the top 5. Lost business for the Roanoke Times. Lost marketing opportunity for the 4th & 5th placement that was removed this year. Who’s decision was this? Why was the change made as it seems a bit strange to change the out come from year to year. Please have someone contact me as it affects numerous people, business and yes even the Roanoke Times.
