More than 100 motorcycle riders fired up their bikes and rode close to 100 miles Saturday as a part of the third-annual Eric Sutphin Memorial Poker Run.
Sutphin served with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for 13 years prior to being killed in the line of duty on Aug. 21, 2006.
Event Coordinator Jennifer Altman said 138 total riders participated in Saturday’s trip and estimated $2,500 would be donated to the Eric E. Sutphin Memorial Scholarship Fund as a result of the event.
