These boys, Joshua (on left, dark hair) and Jayce (on right, blond hair) have been friends since birth. They LOVE the river, and they LOVE the park! How perfect that Radford, VA (in the NRV) offers the perfect place to enjoy both!

Riverview Park, located in West End Radford right off Interstate 81 exit 105, is a pleasant combination of dry and wet fun! It features a large enclosure of brand new playground equipment made out of plastic (including slides, swings, climbing, simulated rock wall, and much more) with a mulch bed, opposed to sand, a covered shelter with plenty of room for more than one family/function at a time, a large grassy area equipped with regulation-size soccer goals, a regulation-size basketball court, several benches throughout the area, plenty of room to picnic or play, and bathroom facilities!

The New River runs the length of the park and features a public boat landing, plenty of room to fish, several areas perfect for swimming/wading, and all the wild geese you can feed and chase to your heart’s desire!
