Shenandoah Podiatry and Annie Kay’s to host “Forks Over Knifes” screening Sept. 13
On Thursday, Sept. 13, at 6:30 p.m., Shenandoah Podiatry will join Annie Kay’s Main Street Market to host a showing of the popular documentary, “Forks Over Knives.” This documentary is about adapting a plant-based lifestyle and how it can help benefit your overall health. In the film, doctors suggest to patients suffering from a variety of diseases to add more vegetables and fruit to their diet. By doing so, patients saw immediate results, including increase in energy, decrease in blood pressure, cholesterol, stress, and lowering their risk of diabetes.
Following the film, both businesses will have a variety of information on how to make small daily changes to benefit your health. Annie Kay’s will provide free samples of recipes taken out of the Forks Over Knives cookbook, while Shenandoah Podiatry will offer tips on how to integrate exercise into your daily life.
Please come and support your community by enjoying a relaxing evening with friends, food and a FREE movie!
Annie Kay’s Main Street Market is located at 1531 S. Main St. in Blacksburg.
